Kickstarter: Back This Beautiful MacBook Stand

I don’t normally do this sort of thing, but I’m going to make an exception for the Ridge Stand. Created by NewBee Design, the Ridge is easily the most attractive MacBook stand (it also works with the iPad and other tablets) I’ve seen, and probably one of the best-designed Mac accessories you’ll find.

As I write this, there are just six days left in the Kickstarter campaign. With a funding goal of $25,000, NewBee have nearly doubled their target, which means – if you want one – now is the perfect time to pledge.

The original Ridge Stand is available for between $65 and $75, depending on how fast you act. If you pledge $85 or more, you can choose the Ridge Stand Pro instead, which offers compatibility with Apple’s larger MacBook Pro, as well as a selection of other low-profile laptops.

You can visit NewBee’s Kickstarter page here. The campaign will end on Thursday, September 11th.

You’d often find me amid piles of bricks, assembling spaceships or moon bases. I don’t have much time for LEGOs these days, but my affinity for all things mechanical and technological is still going strong.
