HP printer owners have the most straightforward printing option: the HP Print for Chrome app. The HP Print for Chrome software allows users to print straight from their Google Chrome browser to their HP printer. To print using the app, there are no drivers or software to download from the HP website or Google. Just open the Google Chrome browser and go to the app store. Search for "HP Print for Chrome" and click install. You're ready to print!
The HP Print for Chrome app is available for Android and Apple devices as well as PCs running Windows 7 or 8.1. It's free and works with any supported HP printer.

In the Chrome browser, click the Apps icon in the upper left-hand corner. A list of Chrome applications that have been installed will be shown. Choose HP Print for Chrome. Select Add printers by IP address from the HP Print for Chrome window. On the next page, enter the IP address of your home network in the Address field. Select the Printer name box and type any names you want to help identify which printer is which. Click OK to add the printer.
The HP Smart app has a function called Print Anywhere. It allows you to check printer status and send print jobs while you are away from your printer using your Android or iOS mobile device, or your Windows 10 or macOS PC. You can also control the printer from any of these devices.
To activate Print Anywhere, use the HP Smart app and your HP account.
Use a normal printer to print.
To print from your Android phone or tablet, follow these steps: If you wish to print a web page from your Android phone or tablet, you must first use the Gmail app or the Google Chrome browser. When you're on the page you want to print, tap the three dots that appear in the upper right corner of the screen. You must pick the option to print from the list. If you have other apps installed that offer similar functions (such as Facebook or Twitter), they will also appear here.
After picking an app, a new menu will appear with options to print different parts of the page, such as the body or just the images. Select the part you want to print and click OK to print it. The print dialog box will appear. Here you can select what kind of paper you want to use and where you want to print it. Click Print to print the page.
Your phone or tablet will now try to connect to the printer listed under "Available printers" on the print dialog box. If it succeeds, all printed pages will be saved in the default printing folder.
Print directly from the Chromebook Navigate to the item you wish to print. Select Print from the Chrome browser's Settings menu. Click Change next to Destination, and then pick your printer. Change any desired print settings, and then press the Print button. The file will be sent to the default Google Cloud Print app for you to download.
Not a problem! Even if you don't have a router or network to connect to, you can use secure Wi-Fi Direct, HP Wireless Direct, or NFC Touch to print straight from your mobile device to many HP printers.
